Everyone is going digital!
As we all know, this is the way forward, but what are the costs of repairs when things go wrong?
The most common faults with LCD TV's are the Inverter modules fail. This is usually due to wear and tear and we have found they generally start failing after 15 months.
So what is the likely cost of repair to your LCD TV?
If the modules can be repaired, then depending on the size of the tv set, it will cost anything from £45.
If the modules are beyond repair, then replacement costs will be anything from £85.
Another common fault is the power supply failing. This can be repairable and the repair costs usually start around £40.
For a new power supply, you would be looking to start paying around £80.
